London Carpentry & Joinery business Woodenyou have been working in many areas of construction over three decades, throughout London and beyond.

With a whole array of commissions from roofing to windows, staircases, doors, ceilings, bespoke kitchens and bathrooms, wardrobes, flooring and all aspects of first and second fix carpentry and joinery, we have testimonials from many satisfied customers.

Woodenyou believe even the most mundane and functional object should be a work of art; aesthetics and continuity of line are key when it comes down to the finish giving pleasure to the eye so that the gaze can move freely around the work without disruption. Attention to detail is all.

In the days of the mediaeval guilds right up to the beginning of the 20th century, craftsmen in wood served a seven year apprenticeship with a master, qualifying them in every aspect of woodwork from constructing the roof of the Sistine Chapel (and countless church roofs closer to home), right down to the floor and construction under the floor!

Today few are competent to undertake this range of work.

Mark however is grateful to Roger and others for the discipline of a thorough modern apprenticeship enabling him to establish his company on firm foundations.
